I totally picked the smart one who took good care of her hair and face! Married 3 years now, happiest time of my life. :) Most girls are beautiful in their way, but the air headed ones DO seem to get the lions share of the, ahm, 'easily advertised' attributes. You'd be surprised what a little primping (and sometimes, time) will do to a person, though! Even when that person didn't allocate all their stat points to the 'charisma' and 'chest' categories! XD

Well, all the smart girls I know do not date in high school, or if they do, they are VERY picky and have the courage to turn some guys down. They also have a life, and have some kind of talent or interest instead of the air headed girls who just sit around making themselves pretty and shopping.
