I think getting a papercut hurts. Getting eaten alive by scarabs probably hurts more, but a papercut still causes pain. Just because something hurts a lot doesn't mean any lesser pain doesn't hurt at all.

I broke my pinkie toe once, and it wasn't the worst thing in the world...I mean stubbing your toe doesn't compare but breaking it doesn't compare to the feeling on breaking, say, an arm or a leg. Or at least in my experience.
