Teens are way to disrespectful to there parents now days. Yea, go call your parents bitches then make a call on your 300$ dollar phone and play on your apple computer you probably wouldn't even dream of having if it weren't for them, amirite?

As a "teen" I'd just like to say at least I know the difference between "to" and "too." That's right, I go to school AND pay my way.

(Your+name+(optional)): It was a generalization. It isn't criticizing every single teenager, only those who act that way. The post simply was pointing out the age group it was referencing. It does not say that ALL teens are like that, and seriously if you think about it, people ARE way more disrespectful to their parents nowadays than they used to be. Society has become much more relaxed about it.

Nah, teenagers are just as bad, probably worse. Because when you're younger, a lot of kids still really look up to their parents but some of that fades away when you grow older. Not that the respect and love fades away, but the feeling that your parent is always in control and always right (slight exaggeration but I think you get my point)

Well i work my ass of in school, am working on finding a new job because I cant work my summer one now. I bought my own cell phone. My computer was a gift I got because I needed it for college and my desktop crashed. I am grateful for what my parents do for me, and I didn't used to be disrespectful, but with the way my mom treats me now its all I can do not to flip my shit. I don't give out respect unless it's earned.

And even if there is a recent spike is disrespectful children, why do you think this is? Parents are a lot more lenient and passive. Blame the down-fall of parenting not the kids, were just a product of our parents.

I agree with some of your points. I know a girl who got an itouch for Christmas last year and told me she might get a second itouch and an ipad for Christmas Which is pathetic and infuriating. But I am a teen and since I hate people buying things for me I buy my own stuff. Don't confuse the latter and the former OP.

Yeah. I honestly think this generation and people as a whole are becoming to reliant on technology, materialism, and are taking everything for granted. : If I didn't have a computer, nice phone, etc., it wouldn't be the end of my life. People act as if it is that way when people back then easily survived, something we could do now.
