Yes, because the conservative point of view is rarely heard. Conservatives are regularly shouted down and intimidated from expressing their point of view.

I guess that is quite true, conservatives are given a bad rep and most don't want to hear what they have to say. However it is also true that most on this site disagree with conservative views (those who chose to actually look at both liberal and conservative views, not just went with liberal because it seems that that's what the "smart" people do) so it would seem that the site voices more liberal views.

I would attribute that mostly to the fact that this site has a very young population, and that countries other than America are much more liberal.

Not all republicans are homophobes. In 2006 43% of the population favored the ability of same-sex marriage, 6% were unsure or did not respond, and 51% opposed. There are more democrats than republicans, so it seems, so this means that LIBERALS are opposing gay rights as well.
