Limewire, you will be dearly missed. amirite?
by Anonymous13 years ago
dam i just went on their site...a moment of silence people!
by Anonymous13 years ago
Truly one of the greatest tragedies of our time!
by Anonymous13 years ago
Get Ares. Much better.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Thepiratebay.org waffles.fm and what.cd and bittorrent of course. Everything you will ever need to get any music free
by Anonymous13 years ago
Don't forget Coda.fm.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Frostwire.
Same exact thing, (:
Less virus' also. ;P
by Anonymous13 years ago
i was thinking the exact same thing!
by Anonymous13 years ago
Same, that's all I use! I hated Limewire. Frostwire is the way to go, its free, has better results, and NO viruses!
by Anonymous13 years ago
but frostwire's kinda ghetto compared to limewire
by Anonymous13 years ago
xDD
Better than nothing, right? :/
by Anonymous13 years ago
frostwire is actually awful. every time i look up anything i get the song good girls gone bad about 20 different times
by Anonymous13 years ago
@754139 (Anonymous):
Works for me...
by Anonymous13 years ago
I adore Frostwire. <3(:
by Anonymous13 years ago
Oh FFFUUUUUUU-
by Anonymous13 years ago
sadface
by Anonymous13 years ago
CAN'T LET YOU GO LIMEWIRE =(
by Anonymous13 years ago
Good riddance...
Torrents people, torrents
by Anonymous13 years ago
Limewire was a nasty, diseased skank that would give your computer herpes... I'm glad she's dead. Torrents are where it's at, people.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Beemp3.com works fine. Also aimini.net and dilandau.com are good too. You don't have to download it or anything.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Why don't people just copy and paste YouTube URL's? Firstly, you get any songs you want without the struggle, and you don't get viruses.
It's www.youtube-MP3.org. And if you have Firefox, you can download a button that says "Download MP3" next to the subscribe button which makes the download time even faster (1-4 seconds usually).
by Anonymous13 years ago
Because it's shitty quality.
by Anonymous13 years ago
What the person above me said. Plus, imagine having 1,000 songs on your iPod and having to copy and paste that many times!
by Anonymous13 years ago
I only used bittorrent for movie downloads, Limewire was the way to go for music though.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I NEVER got any viruses from Limewire, and I used it for years. Some of you probably just didn't know how to use it correctly...
by Anonymous13 years ago
-whispers- they were downloading porn probably
by Anonymous13 years ago
I'm a go-out-and-buy-the-cd kind of person.
by Anonymous13 years ago
same here! nothing compares to CDs, they just sound and feel so much better... (:
by Anonymous13 years ago
Until they get scratched O_o
by Anonymous13 years ago
I know. :) Plus, you never know about that song on the CD that basically no one hears, but it ends up being the most amazing song ever.
by Anonymous13 years ago
or, or, or or, you could BUY music instead of stealing it!
by Anonymous13 years ago
WOAH NOW THAT'S JUST CRAZY TALK
by Anonymous13 years ago
that's generally what i do
by Anonymous13 years ago
Yeah, I USUALLY do that. But sometimes I'm just broke and can't wait. I feel guilty for it though... v_v
by Anonymous13 years ago
I was waiting for someone to say this. Thank you! Whatever happened to supporting the musician whose music you are listening to?!
by Anonymous13 years ago
LONG LIVE BITTORRENT AND FROSTWIRE
by Anonymous13 years ago
Have you guys even looked at other music downloaders? Use Ares P2P, no viruses, download mp3, videos, etc.
by Anonymous13 years ago
yes good riddance to that virus attractor!
by Anonymous13 years ago
That's what happens when you decide to have the company in the U.S.
You can still use older versions of the program; just don't upgrade (But torrenting has been the best for about two decades).
by Anonymous13 years ago
I heard that they were going to block Limewire from the gnutella network entirely. That's what I read.
by Anonymous13 years ago
frostwire is even better than limewire!
by Anonymous13 years ago
That's why I've been using FrostWire :]
by Anonymous13 years ago
Use mediafire. You don't have to download a program.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Is it a website?
by Anonymous13 years ago
Go to google, type the song you want and then add mediafire at the end.
ie. Helter Skelter the Beatles mediafire
You can find albums and movies too. It's pretty sweet.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Ohh sweet! thanks (:
by Anonymous13 years ago
That's incredibly tedious, though, when you can get entire albums or discographies through one download with torrents.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Oh and when you search the song, and click a link it should look something like this..
http://www.mediafire.com/?6nd0gjlgj3d
by Anonymous13 years ago
ThePirateBay and BitTorrent. It's how shit gets done.
by Anonymous13 years ago
It's kinda unnerving how unashamed of stealing we are...
by Anonymous13 years ago
Hey guys, guess what. Musicians work REALLY hard. Making music is their career, and they have to earn money doing it. So...guess what happens when you illegally download music. Musicians go broke, and there is no more music.
I just thought I’d point that out.
by Anonymous13 years ago
We pay taxes.
Therefore, most likely we helped them get to where they're at.
by Anonymous13 years ago
FROSTWIRE!!!!!!!!
by Anonymous13 years ago
Just buy the music! Don't want to get a 1.5 million dollar fine then do you?!
