actually, in new jersey, you legally aren't allowed to have sex before age 14. i mean, there's no way to really check for that unless a police officer is..well creepy.

New Jersey's laws are weird, see. While the age of consent is 16, minors (starting at 13) are allowed to have sex with someone a maximum of four years older than them. So, a 13 year old can have relations with a 17 year old and it's totally legal. A 15 year old can be with a 19 year old and that's okay too. In this case adulthood is irrelevant.

I just said 13 year olds can have sex and it's totally legal... "The age of consent in New Jersey is 16. However, minors aged 13, 14 and 15 may legally engage in sexual activities with persons up to 4 years older than them. For example, it is lawful for a 14-year-old male or female to engage in sex with a person up to 18 years of age. This also applies for 13-year-olds (up to 17), etc."

Yes. It depends on the age, though. Ovulation and Menstruation are two different events that happen during the Menstrual Cycle. Ovulation must occur before Menstruation, so yes, a girl who has ovulated can get pregnant, even if she hasn't had her first period.
