People in colder northern states: its been over 105 degrees here in oklahoma every single day for a month and a half and I would not be surprised at all if it got over 120 before the summers over so we have to appreciate any and all snow we get. We usually just get ice storms though.
I was born in Illinois, raised in Michigan. We don't get off school unless the roads are completely iced over or it's so cold the buses won't start. It sucks, especially if you walk to school.
it is.. one of the rivers in my city floods all the time, especially near this one bridge. so there's always trees that have fallen over and traffic near there.
May 1st of last year Nashville was hit with a HUGE flood. There was about 6-7 feet of water everywhere you went. It was awful. Of course it was the only day I was downtown the whole spring -_-
The south is getting a beating with this weather from hell. 12 days in a row the temperature has been over 100 in north TX. You northerners have no idea how much we down in the south are envying you right now!
I do have to agree with that. In Nashville the "feels like" temp has been over 100 for the entire month of July. The past 2 weeks it was up in 115. horrible...
I'm from BC Canada, and here we don't get snow days unless the province declares a state of emergency. But there's a school somewhere around Toronto that gets out of school for barely anything. It's unfair :(

Born in Michigan and now live in Tennessee...
It's hilariously wonderful that here we get off for the THREAT of snow.

yup. That's how it was when I lived there. Whole different animal here! and I drive now, so idc what the weather is like. it's all backwards. haha
same in virginia. we've also gotten out for flooding. that's what we get for settling along a river.

If it snowed here in Florida I think that everyone might panic.
Yeah that Global Warming is just a...
Moved from Twin Cities to Missouri. I laugh at everybody driving 5mph when there's a centimeter of snow on the ground

I meant to add before posting, I think we deserve our pointless snow days since we have to deal with this weather.
