I read V for Vendetta for a Gothic Lit class, and I loved it. But then, I usually like discussing books in classes because you end up hearing so many different interpretations and other people notice layers of meaning that you wouldn't have picked up on yourself.

We studied the movie for about three weeks, I think by the end of it I had about 50 pages of handwritten notes. It just completely ruined it for me watching it that many times.

You seriously did V for Vendetta in English class?

What the actual fuck?

Can't tell if awesome or horribly ironic.

I've never heard of an English class reading V For Vendetta.

The SciFi class at my school reads Watchmen, I know that, but from what I hear the people from that class leave it loving the novel even more.
