+477 A middle schooler's religious views on facebook: "☮bama iss awesome <33333", amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

obama is their religious view? LOL our generation is fucked up.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That's a cute generalization you did there.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

thank you.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

To be fair, it is a pretty fucked up generation.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

What does Obama have to do with religion? I suppose their political view is ''Christiiiiaaaan<3 :)''

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I hate Obama and I'm in seventh grade.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Funny, how people say that to seem cool. Do you understand politics or government or economics at all, dear? You're, what, thirteen?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No, I do. I took an elective called math science investigations and my teacher made us research politics, economy, and national budget issues.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I highly doubt any seventh grader can fully understand any of that because they took one class. Try again.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Plus, he promised he'd take troops out of my country.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Which country would that be? Just curious.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

My parents are from Pakistan, grandpa from Afganistan, grandma from Iraq and Saudi Arabia. Plus, it's true. I just finished finance (like making and planning budgets and spending wisely), and I'm starting a project on unemployment benefits vs. spending more money on military. Just because I'm in seventh grade doesn't mean I can't understand these things.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Honey, I never said you COULDN'T. I just said I doubt it. You can do as many SCHOOL projects as you'd like, but the fact is, you do not know enough to be able to say you understand what Obama has to do as president. Sure, you may know these things in theory, and props if you do, but in practice? You don't. So unless you have a legitimate reason to hate Obama, stop saying you do. And the thing with the troops is, if he takes them out right away, things are going to go bad in the Middle East again. Ripping them right out would be devastating. The US needs to help those nations out now that we've stuck our noses into their business. Now I'm not saying I'm an expert on the subject, because I'm only a sophomore in high school and simply don't KNOW these things, but that's generally what I'm hearing. And it makes a fair amount of sense. And I'm not judging anyone, dear.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well... I guess you're right there. ;) Though I legitimately am against Obama, I guess he's better than McCain. Maybe I don't HATE him though, but I still feel the Middle East should have a little time to try to solve their own problems. Today, I learned 23%, the biggest piece of the US budget goes to military purposes and 2.5% goes to unemployment benefits so...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I agree to an extent there-- the Middle East does deserve to be able to work things out on their own, but the whole government there was so corrupt (and is) that it'd be pretty hard for them to do so. It'd kind of be a bitch move on the US's part to just rip their government away and leave them to fend for themselves. They're vulnerable without a government. We took it away, we should stick around and help them get it back. And the budget IS pretty messed up, but there's only so much Obama can really DO on his own. Presidents don't have as much power as everyone thinks. They blame him when, really, he's only been in office for two years, he's only human, and he's got eight (or so) years of screw-ups to fix. They forget that he can't just snap his fingers and make all of this go away.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

When I visit Pakistan, I realize how corrupt they are. Pirated movies everywhere sold to cops, kids driving motorcycles. But it's still awesome there.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You've been there? o:

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah, last march and the winter of 2008. It was fun.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Coolbeans. :3

by Anonymous 13 years ago

"sweetie" how exactly do you 'practically' know what our president does??? and "darling" how about you stop repeating what your parents tell you and trying to pass it off as your own knowledge! your making yourself look like a dumbass "sweetie"

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Funnily enough, I don't discuss politics with my parents, dear. And I don't believe I ever said I was 100% right about anything I was talking to Reptart about, I even said I didn't fully understand. It was the truth to the best of my knowledge and understanding. Furthermore, you're the one making yourself look like a dumbass by; 1. Not knowing how to capitalize letters. 2. Adding extra punctuation/not adding it where necessary. 3. Using "your" instead of "you're." 4. Attacking me for absolutely no reason whatsoever and expecting it to bother me. 5. Mocking me, pathetically. 6. Thinking you're tough for anonymously telling me what to do and calling me a dumbass. Have a nice day, love. :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Please shut the fuck up.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah... I'm gonna have to say no to that one. :3

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You should stop judging people like that.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

By reading your profile biography, i can safely say; shut the fuck up you hypocritic fag

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Really? How am I a hypocrite, love? I never said I knew a thing about politics, government or economy. And, I'll let you in on a little secret. My profile bio? It's a joke.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oh, and dear, I'm not gay. I'd appreciate it if you didn't use those worse. They're offensive and unnecessary.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Stop saying 'love', and 'dear' if you obviously don't mean it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Don't tell me how to talk, dear. Especially if you don't even have the guts to not be anonymous. c:

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Don't make fun of my religion guys D': it isn't funny.

by Anonymous 13 years ago
