Some people grow up too much for their own good, amirite?

I never thought that my moment of self-realization would come from an amirite post...

Please explain

Some people try to be so mature, perfect, and "grown up" that they miss the beauty of just living. We don't have to be grown up all the time. Life's supposed to be fun.

Hmm, you've changed my mind! I understand now

Hmmm... Not necessarily "try" to be mature. That's just the way some people are, and it can be a really good thing for a person's future (especially one that is in high school). But it can also deprive that person of the experiences that everybody else experiences, just like you said. So there must be a certain level at which a person must stop, in order to get the best of both "worlds". But it is true that many of these people strive for perfection, and there is nothing wrong with that, but it may cause them to lose their direction.

I completely agree. I'm not talking about striving to be the best that you can. That's great. I just mean, we can't lose the part of us that lets us enjoy life without constantly worrying about things.
