Seniors with good attendance, grades, and citizenship can leave for lunch, and many juniors and seniors have free periods where they HAVE to leave campus at my school. (CA)

but no one else can? that's really stupid, I've gone to school in both Canada and France and both have no problem with anyone leaving at lunch, it's your time.

I agree. But considering our lunch is only about 30 min, it's kind of pointless to leave. Even those who can mostly don't bother.

I live in America and at my high school, everyone can go off campus for lunch. All grades can go off campus, not just certain grades.

My school doesn't trust us. We could easily come back drunk or high, the school doesn't find letting us leave worth the risk. But of course, people leave anyways.

Schools in Vegas are the least trusting. If we get caught going off of campus, there's the risk of getting written up, a call home, and being given a truancy. xD
