+2,138 Mulan is the best Disney Princess. She joined the army, made everyone think she was a guy, made the captain think he was gay, totally defeated the Huns, and saved China. All Sleeping Beauty did was wake up, amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's the Hans. Read a book.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(Chinese suffrage): no... i'm pretty sure it's the huns

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(Chinese suffrage): Huns works as well. Ever heard of Attila the Hun?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(Chinese suffrage): It's the Huns dumbass.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(Chinese suffrage): She defeated the Huns. The Chinese refer to themselves as Han because of the Han dynasty.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(Chinese suffrage): Fail.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i love this post xD

by Anonymous 13 years ago

this would have been better if you wouldnt have said "totally" defeated the huns. defeated the huns would have been just fine

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Thanks for stealing this from Facebook.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Actually, i got this from wittyprofiles.com, and i will admit that without a problem. If this is from facebook, then sorrry, didn't know that.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Okay. Some people would've said that they made it up on their own.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Because mulan is a Chinese folk tale, and american stories teach you to be a a lazy as bum and dream for a prince.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

If you were knowledgeable on folklore and fairy tales, you'd know that people from EUROPE made many* of the fairy tales we know, not Americans.I forget the name, but two brothers compiled a book of most of the fairy tales we know, aka sleeping beauty, snow white, etc.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

The Brothers Grimm? Don't hurt me if I'm wrong *cowers*

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Ah yes, there we go!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

yeah yeah yea but Americans made it into shit...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

How so? We, as in Disney, closely follow the plots of the more popular versions of the stories. Which once again, originated in Europe. Seems like you're very close minded about Americans.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I know it came from Europe >.< Americans can't create anything original, but the way they present it is shit!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Americans can't create anything original? Woooow. Now I know you're just a troll. The way we present it is shit? Dude, we took the plots JUST AS THEY WERE... meaning that the Europeans presented it as shit since we took it from them, however it wasn't presented as shit in the first place. Your argument is invalid, you're just close minded. Troll harder.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

STFU....

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You are a horribly ignorant human being. Stop being racist and actually do your research before you post something as idiotic as this again.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

racist? america is one of the most diverse countries and by american i can mean anyone from irish british or what ever other decent... you are an idiot

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Pretty sure you are talking about like the Grim brothers or something? Or one name was Grim?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Brothers Grimm :P

by Anonymous 13 years ago

sleeping beauty was actually french. nice try, though.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

France is in europe

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I know this. However, I was not replying to the 'European' comment. I was replying to the 'American' comment. So it's not a fail. Attention to detail is fun, isn't it?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

so where you replying to the comment of anonymous or on the comment of nevershoutTater?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Not that hard to see that they were not replying to me, our comments are in the same tier, their's is not to the bottom right of mine.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Fail.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(:)): How?1

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Nah dog, it's cool to copy lengthy facebook groups.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

FAAAAAAAAAAAAAACEBOOK

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I absolutely love Mulan! She's my favorite. :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

okay, i will say this one more time. i got this from wittyprofiles.com, and i have no problem admitting that! if this is from facebook, sorry, i didnt know that. i wasnt aware that i had to check facebook to see if i was going to post something from on it a completely different site.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

nobody cares WHERE you got it. the point is that it's from somewhere other than your own brain.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Still, if you're gonna take something from somewhere else you should say that you took it *before* someone else points it out.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

mulan is not a princess

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(Anonymous):thank you. At least someone knows that she isn't a princess.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

just saw this below and thought you should reat it From Wikipedia: Disney Princess is a Walt Disney Company franchise, based on fictional characters who have been featured as part of the Disney character line-up. The main eight are: Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Mulan, and Pocahontas. The characters were not chosen specifically for their royal titles, but rather for how well they fit into what Disney executives deemed “the Princess mythology." Mulan is an example of this concept; she has no familial ties to royalty, but is still included in the character list. Tinker Bell was once included under the same principle before it was decided she was not suited for the "mythology." She now stars in her own Disney franchise, the Disney Fairies.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

thanks for clearing that up for everyone

by Anonymous 13 years ago

@750006 (lavenderblonde): at the risk of sounding like a complete idiot.... sarcasm?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

what? I replied to the explanation. What's so sarcastic about that?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

sorry. it's just that, when i read it, it was sarcastic in my mind. like as in 'wow, way to be'. idk. that's just how i read it. i didnt mean to offend you or anything.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

oh lol I wasn't offended just confused haha

by Anonymous 13 years ago

where's Tiana? :(

by Anonymous 13 years ago

she is one, too. :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's like that one quote "Don't treat me like a princess because I don't need saving. I'm a freakin' QUEEN, I can handle this." I remember that quote when I think of Mulan.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was going to say that!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was waiting for SOMEONE to comment on that.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Okay, it's the Brothers Grimm. There are many different versions of the same folklore, we have no way of knowing where one is originally from. France is in Europe. I am American, and NO! Americans are NOT creative, we can't do shit. The Disney versions of these tales DO NOT closely follow the original stories. The original stories are insanely dark, while Disney is very kid-friendly. Get your damn facts straight.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I did say the more popular versions, ie, the ones in many storybooks. I never said original. And they (as in the traditional ones we and people back and back and back grew up with) can be traced from Europe, considering the Brothers Grimm thing.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Okay, but you can't trace it to a specific country really. Europe consists of a clusterfuck of countries.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

MULAN ISNT EVEN A PRINCESS. Does she marry a prince? is her dad king? NO. She is kickass but not a princess.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

From Wikipedia: Disney Princess is a Walt Disney Company franchise, based on fictional characters who have been featured as part of the Disney character line-up. PREACH IT!! S he`s my favourite. She was self-less, she WASN`T a princess, she showed that girls can do anything guys to do, and that we don`t need a guy to find ourselves..... WITH ALL THE FORCE OF A GREAT TYPHOON...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

In all versions except Disney's the Little Mermaid turns into seafoam because the prince did not choose her. The original Sleeping Beauty is very disturbing. The prince didn't wake her, he saw he sleeping and raped her. The children that we born tried to suckle and removed the piece spindle. So Disney changed it alot to capitalise on the stories of the Grimm brothers and Hans Christian Anderson.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

WITH ALL THE STRENGTH OF A RAGING FIRE !

by Anonymous 13 years ago

WITH ALL THE STRENGTH OF A RAGING FIRE, MYSTERIOUS AS THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOOOOOOON.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Mulan is the one princess that deserves idol-ism from little girls.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

MULAN IS NOT A PRINCESS. She was born a poor villager - not a princess - and married a soldier - not a prince. I love Mulan. It's one of my favorite Disney movies. BUT SHE IS NOT A PRINCESS.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(Be a man) We must be swift as the coursing river mulan may not have been a princes but she did save the emperors life and saved china from the huns.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Be a man WITH ALL THE FORCE OF A GREAT TYPHOON!!!

Yes, that's true, but Mulan has Mushu. (;

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I am in love with the people who commented and sang that song. Oh my goodness.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I know, me too. I always heard about people doing a song through comments, but I never thought I would actually see it happen.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

i feel kinda sorry for you if youve never seen a song on commments but yeah its pretty awesome isnt it lol :) i <3 mushu "im a dragon ,cantdo the tongue thing" "tttthththththhth" lol x

by Anonymous 13 years ago

She was a princess on Cake Boss, too.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Mulan is NOT a princess. She's something even better. I mean, anyone who is swift as a coursing river, with all the fource of a great typhoon, with all the strength of a raging fire, and mysterious as the dark side of the moon is sooooo much cool.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

yeah she was so much cooler she defeated the huns

by Anonymous 13 years ago
