It's not like the Conservatives (and BTW, they're not the only ones) have a baseless paranoia. There's a reason why people don't want a mosque at the site of 9/11, and it has to do with the fact that the people who want a mosque put up are part of the same people involved with 9/11. People died at Ground Zero, and putting up a mosque there is a lack of respect to them! Have a little bit of sensitivity. Also, like someone mentioned above: two TOTALLY different buildings. So before thinking you're soooo witty with your unoriginal postings... check your sources, idiot.

Your attempts at trying to sound "reasonable" flew out the window when you "forgot" those facts.
I'm not opposed to them building an "islamic center", just not right near Ground Zero. I think that they need to take into consideration the families that were affected on September 11, 2001 and decide on a different location not so near to Ground Zero. There is a place for everything, but an "islamic center's" place is not right by a sight to remember all those who have died in a terrible attack.
