+398 The fact that we Christians can't say "Merry Christmas!" anymore, but can say "Hey, I don't think you have the right to marry who you want to because my religion says so," is kind of jacked up, amirite?

or how about this: "i think it's not right to be gay" "OOH MY GOD HE IS DISCRIMINATING NOW THE POOR PERSON WILL COMMIT SUICIDE! YOU EVIL BITCH! NO MORE!" "Merry Christmas" "THAT'S OFFENSIVE! YOU NEED TO STOP!" W.T.F. facepalm.

Since when can't you say merry Christmas?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That's exactly what I was thinking.

*like*

Uh maybe at an elementary school because they don't want to single in on one denomination. You're still free to say Merry Christmas...

NOT EVERY FUCKING CHRISTIAN IS AGAINST GAYS FOR CRYING OUT LOUD

by Anonymous 13 years ago

In case you didn't notice, in my post it said "we Christians." I'm a Christian too. I'm not against gays. That's kind of the whole point of the post...

It's kind of dumb, but you know, if you wish someone a Merry Christmas and they're not Christian, OOHHH SHIT, offensive. If someone said Happy Hanukkah to me, I'd be like "LOL, I'm not Jewish but thanks anyway," not "I'M OFFENDED BECAUSE I DON'T BELIEVE IN THAT." You know?

AMEN!! seriously.

i went to a christian school for 4 years and i was ONLY allowed to talk about christmas, not hannakuah or kwanza. We werent allowed to even talk about the religion period.... LIKE WTF MAN! NO ONE'STHE SAME FOR GODS SAKE!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

you went to a dumbass Christian school then, I also go to a Christian school and they teach evolution because it's a part of science that lots of people believe and they want us to educated about it, and we talk about nearly all the religions in history: Buddhism, Hinduism, Doaism, etc. Also, Hannakuah is a Jewish religion and Judaism is super close to Christianity so that really doesn't make sense.
