+258 Pokemon fans: You notice that in all of the games there are towns and areas that are basically replicas of other towns and areas in different games. For example, the inevitable cave maze, a desert or snowy area, and some seaside city. amirite?

Uh, duh, because it's a game. LOL.

(Laurawr~!): That doesn't excuse the fact that they should be a lot less similar.

What's a good example of two similar towns?

Pallet and New Bark, Goldenrod and Celadon (the ones with the department stores), Olivine and Vermillion

pokemon fan FTW! xD

Oh. Those are just equivalents. All the starting towns are going to look the same, and all the big cities with the department stores will have similarities. It's like saying "every generation has 100 new Pokemon" or "every episode of Pokemon has Team Rocket blasting off again." Yeah...that's the formula.

and have you ever noticed that all the professors are all named after trees or some kind of plant i.e. prof. oak, elm, birch, and rowan... paradox!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That's not paradoxical, and you'd have to be a moron not to notice that they're named after trees.
