Since hunters have to wear bright orange vests so they don't get shot by other hunters, camo is actually pointless. Therefore, people should reallyy just stop wearing it. amirite?

Tell that to the military.

@asdijojioiojioxj Tell that to the military.

Well I'm obviously not referring to them.. I'm talking about people who wear it just to wear it.

most people who wear it just to wear it, dont wear it because they are hunters, they wear it because they like the design, or they are supporting the military/army.

@816757

it started with the army, they had to wear camo so they could easily hide from the enemy, hunters started wearing camo ater because they got the idea from the uniforms. they use it now so the animals cant see them. but they have to wear orange because its the law while hunting, also animals such as deer are color blind.

Anonymous is right about the some the animals being color blind. If you are turkey hunting you do not wear orange bc they see colors. But you still wear camo whether they the animal can see color or not bc you blend in with the foliage.

Human use of camo actually started with hunters, who wore the furs of animals that they had killed. Fur is a natural camouflage.

Depending on where you live, you aren't required to wear orange. Where I'm from, we hunt decked out in camo and greens, no orange to be found.
