I think on this video I watched in sociology it said heavier guys are seen as powerful and heavier women are seen as lazy, or something to that effect.

Exactly this. Excuses are almost always more readily made for a man to be fat than a woman. It's so fucking stupid.

Overweight men are paid more than skinny men and overweight women are paid less than skinny women. Also I watched a documentary on overweight people and how society views/treats them and there was a study where they showed a group of people photos of random people of all different body shapes and got them to comment on their appearance/ what they think their personality was like and the overweight men received comments like "cuddly" and "teddy bear" and women got comments like "lazy" and "disgusting".

Well with obese enough men, how many flaps of skin does he have to move out of the way in order for his penis to be seen? Obesity is disgustingly unhealthy no matter the gender.
