+681 You always have that one friend that's the opposite sex that you consider like a brother/sister but everyone seems to think you should date, amirite?

or thinks that we are dating...

Story of my life right now! It gets annoying when people keep telling me we should date >:/

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You had your chance. Let Harry have his.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yup. He's my best guy friend and my best friends all think we'd be cute together, and then I have to remind them, "HEY! I've already got a boyfriend that I'm adorable with. So shut up."

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Exact same situation with me.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I have that same issue . Lol .

by Anonymous 13 years ago

gah the guys whose lockers near mine keeps bugging me asking if were dating. just because we walk from class together! it is annoying

by Anonymous 13 years ago

happens with all the guys i hang out with

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's annoying when it's obvious heir in love and deny it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Ehh . IDK . Some people seem to think that me and my best guy friend are "in love" , but we aren't , he's like my brother . So it may seem obvious that their in love but maybe they're just really close ? :3

Yeah, I used to say the same thing, and now we are dating, and it's the best thing ever.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Me too! Apparently nobody realizes that when you already have that solid of a relationship it makes an even better romantic one. Plus, you avoid that awkward getting to know you stage.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

@837537 (RomanPwnage): Really ? I've always thought that dating one of my friends like that would be awkward , and potentially mess up our relationship as friends if things didn't work out . . O_O

by Anonymous 13 years ago

What makes you think it wouldn't work out?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm not sure really . . I guess I'm just really scared to lose him because I love him . =/

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well, it certainly worked for us, we've been together for 2 years now, and if you don't do it you'll always wonder if it would have worked out.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I guess that's a good point . I mean , we've talked about it before , but I've never really wanted to take that risk . Maybe it would be worth it , if it lasts . :3

by Anonymous 13 years ago

But I'm that friend, and thinks we should date.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Then tell your friend that ? If you're that close I'm sure they will understand and maybe even be open to it . I mean if my best guy friend asked me out , I would probably say yes . ^-^

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I know. I mean, we did actually date before and it didn't work out, but he's still my best friend. Yet everyone is always like "ohhh you two should date again!!! you would be perfect for each other!!"

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oh , I've been in that situation before . It's kinda confusing . =/

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Hmmmm, I have that situation too...he asked me out last week and we went out the night this post was posted (ironic?). it went REALLY badly and I broke it off :P. we're still friends though.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That is a bit ironic , but it's good you're still friends though ! ^-^
