+839 The thing you miss most about childhood is not caring what you looked like. amirite?

I still don't give a fuck

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Bullshit. You may care very little about your looks, but you care. It's practically biologically impossible not to.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I really don't, beauty is all perception and you can't tell me what I feel. And don't take the sissy way out and go anon, fucktard.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

"I really don't, beauty is all perception" Sure and ice cream is magical unicorn poop, right? More bullshit.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Uh, wtf? Don't tell me my opinions and what I feel. I don't comment on all your shit saying what YOU think about things and yourself. I don't wear makeup or spend hours on my appearance. I look the way I look and I'm fine with that. You're just being a stubborn dick, especially since you haven't give any reason why (my opinions) are wrong in your above comment. You just said it was bullshit, no explanation. Just because I don't give in to this commercialistic, egotistic society doesn't mean I'm wrong. Shut the fuck up.

I see I hit a nerve, you wouldn't be getting this mad if there wasn't an element of truth in my accusations. Just because you don't wear makeup or spend hours on your appearance that doesn't mean you don't care, it only means you care less than most others.

Than just...stop giving a damn.

I actually always cared, but my hair actually behaved so I didn't have to spend 30min every day just straightening it. I could bathe, dress, and leave and just brush my hair. Haven't been able to do that since early 6th/late 5th grade...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Same here! My hair gets super huge and wavy when i don't straighten it, like Hermione Granger gone bad. I now have to straighten my hair every day because when I sleep somehow i bend it (or something. that's my only explanation.) and it ends up wavy when I wake up; but i don't remember ever having to straighten it in like, elementary school and so forth, and i still looked okay.

Or what people thought. Like I used to do whatever around guys, we'd all eat like pigs, and now we get embarrassed. I miss that...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

its normal to be compfortable with the way you look without getting ready and not give a shit what other people look like.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

because its practically biologically impossible not to.... even though biology is the reason for the way i look, not how i feel about it. i agree. i dont wear makeup except when i feel like playing with it and special occasions. i could not give a shit less if my boyfriend has a big ugly nose or something. what even tells people this is pretty and this is not? ohhh that thing? that thing in the middle of your face that you breath through? its shaped funny.

Thank you! I think we scared Anon away, he hasn't replied. ha

In third grade, some girl told me that my legs were "really wide, like a table." Yeah, I was a little bit heavy and maybe I went through puberty early (not that early though, more like 5th/6th grade), but seriously.

I miss not having to wash my face unless I was in the bath or it was dirty. Ah, those zit-free days...
