yeah, where as it is common for movies, tv shows, and even books that have all white people to not have a single black person or other racial minority

I hear what you're saying about the books. I am so tired of reading books about white people doing cool things, like they are the only ones who like to read books. And if there is a book with black main characters, it's usually about slavery, or hard times in the ghetto, or something that I don't want to read about. At first I thought it was because black people don't write stuff like that, but it's actually because no one wants to publish it. They don't think anyone would want to read it.

I just kind assumed most teen novels were mixed races, and mature novels don't really mention it, or if they're classics they're in a time period where there simply wasn't racial diversity.
