+158 Apparently, Disney has a rule that every princess needs at least two hyperbolized guy friends to help her achieve whatever she is trying to do, think about it, Ariel had Sebastian and Flounder, Belle had Lumier and Cogsworth, Cinderella had Jack and Gus Gus, and so on, amirite?

Mulan: Shang and mushu.. Jasmin: Aladdin and Genie.. HOLY CRAP you're right! And the latter had a movie that wasn't even about her!

... Dude! I never thought about it that way! Good thinking! Oh, and don't forget Crickey! "This cricket's a lucky one!" ;) And, psh, Snow White had seven. haha

Well, I would count the Genie as Aladdin's sidekick and Aladdin's the prince int that story so it doesn't work out. She has that tiger though! As for Mulan, again Shang is the love interest, not sidekick. I would count the Cricket though.

I found an exception! Sleeping Beauty. Her sidekicks are the three female fairies.

That's true, I haven't seen Sleeping Beauty, at least not since I was three. Wasn't there an owl, though?

Yeah, but he doesn't do much. Look up the song "Once Upon a Dream" and watch the clip from the movie that goes along with it. That's pretty much as far as the part of the owl goes.

That owl cracks me up.

I think it's pretty much every main Disney character that has them, Aladdin had Abu and Genie and Simba had Timon and Pumbaa.
