+261 The largest picture even taken is of 10, 000 galaxies. Each galaxy contains anywhere from ten million to one trillion stars. The average star is one million times the size of the earth. This huge photo only covers 13/millionth of the night sky. Some scientist's claim that what I just mentioned is the size of a quarter compared to the size of the earth, what the actual universe is. Mind boggling... amirite?

If someone were to take a picture of it all, the earth wouldn't show up. Probably not even with like a major zoom in. It's a really good chance someone else is alive out there.

The earth x 10 000 galaxies x hundred million stars x one million[earth] x 76923 x 9 (empty space in sky) x what a quarter is compared to the size of the earth

And some people think we're the only life out there...!

A quarter compared to the whole Earth? I'd say that's a pretty sad comparison, considering the universe is infinite.

Yh, thats another different concept though

That's mind bottling. I just wanna trap my mind in a bottle after hearing that, it's so crazy.

alien steps on this quarter equels us being bye bye

Yeah, there are so many examples of how insignificant we are. If you turned the mass of a grain of sand into pure energy, it would be about as much energy as a volcano eruption. Across the universe, there was an explosion that had the equivalent of the masses of 6 or 7 of our suns of pure energy.

I wonder if someone out there is wondering about us "aliens" too...
