+545 When you were younger, there were things that happened that made you believe Santa really WAS real, like, all the cookies being gone, and thinking you hear something on the roof, amirite?

I don't know, I was always doubtful. If I heard something on the roof, I would first think of all logical explanations before jumping to conclusions. But I sort of wish I did believe. It would've made my childhood more exciting.

My parents used to ring bells outside of my window, and write notes from Santa in curly letters. But in 1st grade a bunch of kids starting saying he wasn't real and I started to doubt. :(

My parents would always say, if you don't believe, you don't receive. so i would get scared and start believing, haha.

One year we were gone over Christmas and when we got home there were presents under the tree from Santa so I thought he had left them there even though we were gone.
