+55 Only date people you'd consider marrying. Otherwise, you're just wasting your time. amirite?

If you don't date someone, how would you know whether you want to marry them or not?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

^Exactly; the only determination you could make before getting to know a person would be "are they hot enough for me to marry"... and if that's your concern, probably no one but the equally shallow would want to marry you.

@852933 (420Grrl): I mean for the most part, (personally speaking at least) I date girls after I've gotten to know them (girls who I'm friends with), not right off the bat.

Just go out there and enjoy yourself

I'm gonna die, I'm wasting my time no matter what I do.

True ninjas never die, they just disappear

Truu=/=True

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Oh I meant if you're a real ninja. My phrase would have worked perfectly without having put "True" in front of it. Here let me rephrase; Ninjas never die, they just disappear.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I'm not really a ninja, it's all good :)

by Anonymous 12 years ago

You're not a ninja??? WTFFFF. This whole time I've been thinking that you were. What has this world come to, where you don't even know who's a ninja and who's not... wait a minute, that's just what a ninja would want me to think! Well played Truu, well played

I disagree. As mentioned above, how are you going to find someone you want to marry without dating first? And when you're dating, you should be having fun, not always looking for "the one." And personally, marriage isn't what I'm looking for now, and probably ever. You can have a successful relationship without needing a piece of paper to prove you're loyal to eachother.

That's just an excuse for people who are scared to actually make a commitment.

Because everyone should conform to the perfect Christian ideal of a normal family.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

It's not Christian. It's what a vast majority of people think.

Sometimes you have to date a few people that you could never marry to learn what you want in a future spouse.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

can't people just have fun. you don't have to think about marriage all the time. having a significant other fucking rocks sometimes, but i don't plan on marrying every person I date.

I hear polygamy rocks.
