It'd be great if lightbulbs died by fading and eventually not turning on instead of going out with a bang. Amirite?

LED bulbs and many types of HID bulbs doesn't go out with a bang, but slowly go dimmer and dimmer over the years (yes YEARS) that they work.

I've noticed that my lightbulb gets less bright before it goes out with a bang.
