+542 If you think about it, it's actually pretty clever that the Salvation Army sets up in front of grocery stores, because you can't exactly say you don't have money if you're going in to buy groceries, amirite?

Foodstamps, yo. Plus, just because I have money for groceries, does not mean I have money to give someone else.

Unless you're paying with a card.

^^Yeah, who really carries cash anymore? I'm personally kindof skeeved out by it; it's one of the dirtiest things we come into contact with on a regular basis. The only time I pull cash is to pay the weed man LOL once it's legal, he can take my bank card too.

There are so many things wrong with this comment but I had to love it.

actually, you can. you could be carrying around checks and/or credit cards and not have any cash to give them

Plus i always feel bad for them, standing out in the freezing cold ringing a lame little bell.

That's the secret for selling girl scout cookies too.

Actually, my mom has to say that a lot, because she can't very well hand them her credit card, and that's all she carries.
