Just curious, is that a real percent or did you just guesstimate?

Nice super low guess. More than likely around 5% will stay with one person their entire lives.

@915828 (Joker): Considering the number of people in the world, it's probably more like 1%. You have to factor in how many people date around and how many people are arranged to be with one person from the very begining. 1 in 100 seems pretty accurate. Of course it's not gonna be easy to get the real percent.

1/100 and .01% are no where close to the same number. I agree with the 1/100 apect- but the pecentage in the post is likely WAY lower than reality

I didn't mean it was close to the percentage in the post. It's just closer to the percent in the post than to the 5% scrantoncity said.

Hahaha that's really true. I mean.. I don't know one person who was with the same person from, say, their teens into retirement. Though that might be amazing.

I only think it's sloppy seconds when you date/hook up with someone that a friend or family member dated.
