South Park can actually be educational sometimes. amirite?

I wouldn't say educational in the academic sense, but I do think the creators are very intelligent.
Satire when done right (and although they sometimes miss the mark by a lot, South Park would be the best example) can sometimes make more sense, and create more a discussion than a serious viewpoint.
Humour is very powerful in getting a point across.
And, I think although sometimes they take an issue and hit you over the head with it, I do like that they seem to realise that most issues aren't black and white, wrong and right, overly-simple answer.
And they do their research - the goth kids are more funny when you realise Trey and Matt have them listening to real goth bands (while mocking them at the same time) instead of the tired old media-influenced assumption that goth rock is heavy metal, which it isn't.
