It's so annoying to hear dogs barking, but if you think about it, it's just their speech. They could be hanging around listening to us talk and saying, "My God, Fido, please make these damn humans shut up," amirite?

For the record though, they actually speak more with body language and eyes then they do with their actual voices. =)

This is a common misconception. Barking isn't really their "language." They speak more with things like twitching their nose and sniffing and tilting their head.
