No. I hate when people make that assumption. On some girls, a little makeup goes a long way. I don't wear very much at all really, and the makeup I do wear is only on the eyes. But when I'm not wearing it, I look totally different. It also depends on HOW you do the makeup.

Actually, I absolutely hate when girls wear too much makeup. I'm thankful to have nice skin so I don't wear anything to cover up my face. On my eyes, I wear mascara on the top lashes and a tiny bit of eyeliner on the bottom waterline to define them, and that's all. I would never wear any more, unless I'm going to something special. I turned up the contrast on the picture a bit, which makes my makeup look a little darker.

Also, @colebowl, I think it's funny how you thumbed down my comment and thumbed up the person who replied to me, when in your profile picture I can see that you wear more makeup than I do on a regular day. But I'm not saying it's a bad thing or that it looks bad, it looks really pretty.

She looks like she's wearing less than you... It says in her profile she wears no make up every day, she's just doing it for the picture. It looks like you're wearing lipstick, blush, and a lot of eyeliner on the top.

I'm not wearing any lipstick, blush or eyeliner on the top. It's the combination of thick eyelashes and contrast of the picture that you're seeing. And plus, I wear my makeup lighter than that on a regular day. I just wanted to look nice in the picture.

I added a slight contrast to make the colors pop, then I was done. So, you can stop being rude to me even though I don't do anything to my face/pictures that is out of the ordinary. Thanks.

It looks like you're wearing more than me, I just have on eyeliner, which looks kinda thick on the bottom cuz it got smudged. It doesn't look bad, I disagree with the "clown make up" thing I just agreed that you don't look like a completely different person if you're only wearing a little make up.

But without your eye makeup, I can bet people will still obviously realize you're you. If you wear your makeup in such a way that people don't recognize you when you take it off, you're wearing too much makeup. All I wear is eyeliner and mascara, too, and I don't think my appearance changes too much when I take it off.

Yeah, I realized after I replied that I didn't actually mean that I look totally different. People would definitely recognize me, but I just meant that I do look fairly different without it.

I mean, everyone looks slightly different, and it's the point of makeup, I guess. But the way I read the post (and thus replied) is that there's a radical difference between wearing makeup and not wearing makeup. And when that's the case, that person is simply wearing too much.

I agree now that I've heard your full opinion. I think there's a fine line between wearing too much and a good amount, and whenever it looks like I've crossed that line on accident, which can happen easily just by using too heavy of a hand, I'm quick to wipe a bunch of it off.

Yeah, there is, especially with eyeliner. I stopped wearing it on my lower lash line because it looked to heavy on me. But everyone has different opinions on the amount of makeup that is "too much".

Yeah, it looks bad on my lower lash line but if I put it on the waterline it looks more subtle and better on me. I guess it just depends on what looks right on you personally, and also what makes you comfortable.

You can tell from my profile picture that I wear makeup and i absolutely hate when people pull the whole "I'm better than you cause I don't wear makeup, you're just insecure" shit, buuut Honestly if you look that different you need to learn how to do your makeup better. It's supposed to enhance your features, not change them.

I wear far too much eye make up and I have no issue admitting it. We aren't all naturally pretty, c'est la vie.
