Have a cold bear "Legally" anyways...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I should hope that no one has a cold bear. Sounds mighty scary.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Haha oops. You know what I mean though.

I think if you can vote and serve for our country, you should also be able to drink.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Thanks Christina, I should've said "legally".

omigod how many times have I heard this argument and had to explain: It's because of brain development! It has nothing to so with maturity, or the 18 year old's ability to "handle" the beer, it's because a human's brain is not done growing until they are 21 years old, and drinking alcohol prior to that age could potentially cause brain damage. That one drink you had when you were 15 doesn't do anything, and that one time you went to a bar when you were 19 doesn't do anything, but drinking on a regular basis while under the age of 21 can cause serious damage! STOP BEING SO OFFENDED, IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOUR MATURITY LEVEL

bullets and politics can also do permanent damage to minors.

I know. I find it annoying when people are like "It's ok, I'm mature, so I can do this" or something. They're usually the immature ones, and they're in denial about still being young. Your brain doesn't change just because you want it to.

Being killed in a war is also damaging to your health.

Here in Australia the legal drinking age is 18.

Other way around with the marrying and having a cold beer if you're gay.
