What do parents in Africa say to their kids to get them to finish their dinner, amirite?
by Anonymous14 years ago
Well parents are probably talking about the kids that don't have dinner.
Son finish your onion soup! Think of all the Fat kids in America who would munch this up if they saw it.

"You know this is your last meal until next week" would probably do it
by Anonymous14 years ago
I don't think they need to be told to finish their dinner. They probably do it voluntarily every time without any fuss.

Mine would say that there are ''poor people who can't even afford food'' or ''poor people in the townships''.

I have a friend who is a missionary to China and she asked her students what their parents told them. They said, "Eat your food because there's children in America who don't have any food."

not EVERYONE, in the WHOLE ENTIRE MASSIVE CONTINENT of Africa is starving......:P
by Anonymous14 years ago
True, but they can't be like "children in Qfrica are starving", because they'd be talking to children in Africa. They could say something like "Dave next door is starving."
by Anonymous14 years ago
i don't think they need much encouragement
by Anonymous14 years ago
Just replace "...kids in Africa..." with "...people next door..." and it still works.
by Anonymous14 years ago
If my parents told me that I'd probably pick up my dinner and go share it with the kids next door.
