The amirite demographic doesn't hit very many people (if any) who are trying to have a baby and start a family.

Babies are definately a blesssing. Some people are too self absorbed to see it though.

i really hate it whenever someone has their first child, they see it as an opportunity to be the center of attention and brag about how they are parents now and are part of "I'm a parent" group.
I mean, i get that birth is a miracle (think how complicated the human body is) but... when it's ALL you talk about...
am i making any sense??
by Anonymous14 years ago
Yes, because obviously all I talk about. I was still prolife way before I gave birth. I think abortion is selfish, no matter what's said about it.
by Anonymous14 years ago
yeah, I wasn't aiming that comment towards you specifically i was just... saying it in general.
But yeah, I'm pro-choice but I'd prefer them to choose life, see what I'm saying?
Its more babies for me to stalk!
by Anonymous14 years ago
Ohh I thought it was directed towards me since the reply was towards me. I can understand why some people are pro choice but I can't be. When I was younger my cousin had gotten pregnant and aborted; she now can't have children due to the scarring on her uterus. I never wanted to not have kids, my daughter came sooner than expected but I love her all the same.

oh, i didn't know you had a child. haha,
but my sister she gave birth to my niece Gabrielle when she was 17.
It feels so weird to think what life would be like without Gabby if she was aborted.
by Anonymous14 years ago
I was sixteen, and for all the changes that were made, I couldnt imagine it any other way. And I'm grateful that your sister is one of those who weren't too self absorbed to see the blessing in her child.

yeah, see, my brother's wife has always been "daddy's girl" so when she had her first child this past month, even though i am super-dooper-uber proud of my brother,
she's been showing their child off like a brand new toy and making her status on facebook "Motherhood is tough" and continuous stuff like that.
So thats where my first comment was coming from, not insulting you.
And yeah, it sounds like you're a great mother.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Alright, that makes sense. And for as hard as it is, it gets better. All you can do is support her and maybe she'll calm down eventually. Also thank you, I do my best.

I agree! They're so.... tasty!
