I never wore those and it worked fine.

I didn't wear mine once and when I went in for my appointment, they told me what a great job I had done and how the elastics had made a huge difference.

The same exact thing happened to me, haha. I went in and they were all "oh, wonderful! you're the first person we've seen today who's actually worn their rubberbands."
