+330 It is wierd to think that maybe Jesus (as in the son of God) could actually be pronounced the Mexican way, and we could just be mispronouncing it. amirite?

weird

Well, it's regional. In Hebrew, it would be Yeshua.

"Yeshua" is the Hebrew name (what Jesus would have been called while he was alive, there is no letter J in Hebrew), its English spelling is “Joshua" and "Iesous" is the Greek transliteration of the Hebrew name, and the Latin is "Iesus". So Jesus is just another translation.

I only say no because I do not believe in Jesus. Please don't tell me that I shouldn't even comment though, because it isn't up to you, and I am allowed to tell you that I don't believe in this.

Saying something is the point of commenting, and I didn't say anything thatg wasn't nice.

I like how you specified that Jesus is the son of God.

by Anonymous 13 years ago
