+353 Sorry Taylor Swift, but when you're 15 and someone tells you they love you, they're just trying to get into your pants, amirite?

INB4 delusional middle schoolers.

That's the point of the song...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

agreed. They've missed the whole point.

Yeah I looked up the actual lyrics after I made this post. But if you're just listening to it on the radio then the line that sticks out is "'Cause when you're fifteen and somebody tells you they love you / You're gonna believe them".

The "you're gonna believe them" part should have indicated that she now knows better.

This is kind of cynical. When you are 15 and rich and someone says they love you they are not always just trying to get into your pants. Sometimes they are trying to use your money and fame to get into other peoples pants too.

She wasn't famous when she was 15.

But she did have money. A lot of it.

I think she's a little more grounded when it comes to money, though.

Well if you think it is so then thats all the proof anyone needs anywhere. Its ok guys we cracked this one wide open!

I drew that conclusion from interviews I've read and what I've seen her wear in pictures. I'm not saying I know every single detail of Taylor Swift's life.

You drew a conclusion from some available information. You are clearly right!
