+293 You try your hardest to get into honors classes and once you get put in them you realize you wish you weren't in them because it requires so much effort, amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Its horrible!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Haha. IKR? :b

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You're in honors? What classes do you have to take for it?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Science, Math, Enlgish, and History. >_<

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah I have to take AP chem, AP euro, advanced comp, and Algebra 2/trig. It's AWFUL

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That sucks. =O

by Anonymous 13 years ago

thats pretty much EXACTLY what i took junior year. wanna know what i took SENIOR year? it only gets worse: AP US history, AP literature, AP physics, AP bio, AP calculus, honors french.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Ewww that's my junior and senior year combined

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I don't think it's that bad...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Honors classes are easy...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Hahaha yes, they are. I always get put in AP gifted (higher than honors) classes without even trying.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(...): Haha it may seem weird to some people, but I can't wait until I'm in AP classes. I'm a freshman and my school doesn't have any AP freshman classes, so I'm in all honors, and I have high A's in every class. Plus some of the people in my classes make the class seem like it's not even an honors class...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

honors classes are easy, AP classes suck balls. BE WARNED.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Honors English is easy but honors algebra 2 is hard...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Math is my worst subject and I would've done horrible in honors Algebra 2 if I wouldn't had such a nice teacher who let us retake tests we did abominably on. I feel your pain.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm taking Honors Algebra 2 next year... should I pray a lot?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

YES!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

ugh i hate being in honors and next year most of the classes are either AP or regular :/ and i want to be in regular but my mom prob wouldn't let me

My American friend was in honors classes and was at the top of her class. When she moved to Canada, she was almost always in the middle or the bottom. So, we can conclude that either Americans are cocky or American education sucks and you guys are just bitching.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Or she went to a shitty school?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I know a girl who moved and switched schools. She used to be class rank 18. Now she's 58th. A Shitty school is definitely a possibility.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

A lot of Canadian schools are at a different level than American schools. I'm not implying that Americans are stupid, just that there are different difficulty levels.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

People extremely exaggerate the workload of high school.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Some people generalize to an extreme extent.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I didn't say "all people" or "everyone," I simply stated that people do in fact exaggerate.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That's like saying there's a difference between 'All blondes are stupid.' and 'Blondes are stupid.' It's the same thing.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Fair enough. I fail to see why you feel the need to nitpick my words, though. My generalization holds truth.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

My friend literately gets a half hour of sleep each night because of the workload she has. The work load is not an exaggeration.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Ah, yes, because a sample size of one person proves something.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Honors classes aren't hard. They just give you work that's REALLY time-consuming. ._.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I can't say I agree. Im in all advanced classes, and it's not really a matter of them being hard or anything. If you have a real desire to learn, you'll put in whatever amount of effort you need to succeed. That's how I see it anyway :p
