+327 It seems like it's more socially acceptable for a guy to be gay than for a girl to be lesbian but, on the other hand, more acceptable for a girl to be bisexual than for a guy to be bisexual, amirite?

Really? I think it's more acceptable for lesbians. No one harasses lesbians, or makes fun of them behind their back. I know too many people that do that to gay guys.

But there's a lot of people that LOVE gay guys and just think lesbians are weird or something, I guess it's all up to interpretation.

I've noticed this. I think that it's cause people are still kind of sexist

That's not true for me. /: acceptable my ass.

Guys point of view: lesbians=cool girl bisexuals=awesome. Gay/bisexual guys: creepy...

I think it's opposite. Lesbians are more accepted. (Most) Guys think two girls together is hot, girls act borderline lesbian with their friends (so, they seem less likely to care), and it is harder to tell with two girls because straight girls hold hands with their friends, give hugs, etc. Almost like you don't know for sure if a girl is lesbian unless they admit it, but a guy acting that way towards a guy you'd assume he is without admitting it.

I don't think either is more acceptable. Where I live most guys love lesbians but hate guy but most girls love gays but hate lesbians. I for one don't mind either.
