Cows get killed for meat anyways; not using their hides would be wasteful. Wearing leather is a sign of respect the brave cows make for your breakfast. On the other hand, killing something just because it's fur would look nice on your floor is stupid. You could just get fake fur, but noooooo, real fur is better.

If you can eat 100 minks for breakfast, you have the stomach of a god. What you say is partially my point. If you are going to kill something, at least have the decency to eat it. Unfortunately, the other part is far from my point. You are not going to go and kill minks solely to eat them. Cows, on the other hand, will be killed whether you wear leather or not. If you wear furry chaps (wtf?) made of fake mink, you will look ugly, but the only thing I would be upset about is how ridiculous fashion is getting.
