Duh? They banned cigarette ads like 18 years ago. The mascott for camel cigarettes was camel joe. A cool cartoon camel. Marlboro man was a fuckin cowboy. How many kids wanna grow up to be a cool strong cowboy? like all of them. You wont see a commercial on tv for anything cigarrette related. Not anymore anyway
I know not anymore, but that's my problem: People today are STILL complaining that cigarette companies are aiming their ads at kids. What ads?! I just want these people to get a better argument.
Oh yeah, I forgot they had that! We switched to regular Sports Illustrated pretty young, I suppose. The only point of Sports Illustrated for Kids was to get the trading cards.
My point was that kids read magazines that are aimed at adults. But then it doesn't really support the original post, so my bad.
"Even if they made Spongebob cigarettes that come with stickers and a lolipop, nobody could do anything about it." haha, its tottaly true, but i lol'd.

Who the hell complains about that anymore?
I hear it all the time.
I have. Just not in kids magazines. They have laws against them being in kid magazines. But ive seen them in shit like people or cosmo n shit.
I've seen them in Sports Illustrated. My brothers and I were reading that when we were...10?
They can put cigarette ads in Sports Illustrated because they have a line of magazines made just for kids...its called Sports Illustrated for Kids

Yea the only ads now are in magazines
I've never seen a magazine ad for cigarettes either, much less one in a kids magazine.
My uncle worked at something of Marlboro and yes, he said they aimed their ads directly at kids between 10 and 14 :(
thats incredibly sad.
Yeah I was just thinking that the only ads I've seen with cigarettes are talking about NOT smoking.
Sports illustrated isnt directed at kids. But obviously kids read it. So thank you for helping my arguement sir
