PETA is against NASA. Yeah.

The other day in class this kid brought up PETA and I said that I couldn't stand PETA. Everyone acted like I was some animal killer and deserved to be shot. Funny thing is, PETA isn't all that sweet themselves. I'm all for animals and everything, but PETA doesn't live up to the name they have built for themselves.

@944112 Aaand, the vice president or something was forced to get veins from an animal to get needles to save her life, and she's STILL for PETA. Hypocrite.

They take animals in, then euthanize them. Not really "slaughtering", but still murdering.

Basically what Katffro said. They euthanize them becasue apparently its cheaper to do that than to spend actual time trying to find them homes. see this way they can spend more money on sexual ads and throwing paint at people with fur coats. perfect logic.

They're not extreme... they're fake. They take millions in donations every year, and yet still kill more animals that you would believe. Seriously people, if you want to help the animals, look for sanctuaries that take in abused or abandoned animals and take care of them- those are worthy causes.

I don't have the statistics in front of me, but believe me, if you do a little digging you'll find the truth. I live near the largest wildlife sanctuary in the country and visit it regularly, and they keep tabs on PETA's hypocrisy. The most recent incident I'm thinking of had to do with a few 100 abandoned race dogs- they were sick and needed help, and rather than use that ridiculous amount of money they get from people to do that, they put them all down. The sanctuary I speak of takes in any animal, and would never put one down without doing their best to save it... on a fraction of the donations PETA gets. Also, they raise ligers, and I think those are awesome. XD
