oh, nah, didn't mean to. just thought of it cause I came back from a convenient store.

oh ok, that's cool. I just came back from the library. =)

Having worked as a cashier, I can safely say that most of the time it's mild curiosity rather than us being judgmental. But then again, maybe that just stemmed from me working in a college town.

We are the most judgmental.

I used to be a cashier. I was pretty judgmental but I'd always catch myself and think, "it's none of my business what this woman is going to do with this cucumber."

by Anonymous 12 years ago

No, customers are the ones who complain about shit and call us out on stuff...we're not the judgmental ones.

Yeah I'm pretty judgemental. I judge people that order a full sandwich and when asked if they want chips or an apple for a side they say macaroni, sorry but 500 calories is not a side.

Random question: Do you work at Panera?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yes actually I do, someone knows their stuff :P

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I work there too 8).

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I probably say "Chips, bread, or apple as your side?" in my sleep...

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Hahaha me too, and I always end up asking people if they have a mypanera card even if they've already given it to me.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yeah, or I ask for their name, even though I already swiped their card and it's on the screen. I did that today actually.
