Sometimes I read a few pages in, then do something else and lose my space, and need to go to the 4th page again where I left off, which requires scrolling all the way down.

On my phone, I can just press B for bottom and T for top

It depends on what browser you use. When I scroll in either direction quickly, it offers a button to take me to the top or the bottom, depending on which way I'm scrolling.
