+408 19 Islamic Radicals kill 3000 Americans: "You can't judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few extremists." One American preacher threatens to burn the Qu'ran: "Death to America!!!!!!!", amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

He didnt *just* threaten to, he made billions of people do it worldwide. Also, one third of the world in Muslim. 19 out of those one third did a horrible act that isn't even allowed in Islam, and doesn't make them Muslims anymore according to the Qur'an. 3000 Americans were killed right? What about the Muslims in Gaza? The innocent Muslims that have been tortured and prosecuted since the day of 9/11? The Muslims that were killed in Mosques that were bombed by haters? The innocent children beaten up, bullied, raped, set on fire and killed JUST because they're Muslims? The converts that were held hostage because they reverted? The Muslim women that were raped because they didn't belong in society? The Muslim men that were prosecuted in Guantanamo Bay for absolutely no reason, because they had beards? The men that were jailed, and put into torture, being humiliated and stripped in cold jail cells while they eventually died from all the cuts, while their bodies were piled up? Yeah, unfair.

I'm unsure of how much is true of what you just said, but if it all is... then that's horrible. Why do humans have to fail at life so much? Smh. :(

by Anonymous 13 years ago

There is no way billions of people burned qurans. Maybe less than 100.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

He got BILLIONS? Really?! I haven't fully researched him [sue me], and I mean no disrespect, but that seems unlikely. 1 billion people are Muslims, many people in 3rd world countries aren't educated enough on Islam/can't afford a Qu'ran to burn, and most people aren't psychotic enough to burn a holy book. I know some crazy people, and even they think that burning the book is too far.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Alright, I admit, I exaggerated tremendously there, however there were hundreds of people who did it, people who were angry because of the placement of the community center on Ground Zero, people who were mad about 9/11, people who hated Muslims/Islam in general and people who hated the prophet Muhammad. I don't think this is a fair judgment. Although, we all have our opinions. I mean, come on, right after Draw Muhammad day? If i didn't know any better, I'd bet that some people are probably stirring up another plot to spread hatred. I'm not going to take the risk of letting a chance go to defend my religion. Defend it from "Islamic" terrorists, haters, Islamophobics, and stereotypes. It's like Islam's the new target, we're the new aliens.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I am, along with other people, fine with Islam. It's meant to be a peaceful religion. Sure, there are some people that practice a violent branch of it, but it is meant to be peaceful. I understand your frustration, though. Sort of. I've just never been so targeted...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You make it sound so simple. It's not only a small percentage of people who do that. Governments are involved in this. There are Muslim countries who fund terrorists to attack Israel everyday and not just soldiers, but innocent civilians. I really do not have a problem with people who are Muslim, but you can't pretend you're the victims here. You cause as much damage (if not more) as you get

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yes, but there are also governments who fund terrorists (or rather, the 'army,' they get a fancier name) to attack Palestine everyday, and not just soldiers (because there aren't really any ...) but innocent civilians. And let's face it, Israel causes about a hundred times more damage than it receives, so its unfair to call it a war. Its terrorism when a 1000 civilians are killed as opposed to 12. Its terrorism when an entire country is destroyed because the Bush administration was 'misled' (and the sad part is, you don't even need to explain yourselves for that. Everyone just accepts it. Okay.) Besides, thats a stupid argument to make because those are purely political concepts, and not religious ones. And how can you say that? Only about 20% (even less) of the world's Muslims are Arabs. Not all Arabs are Muslims, not all Muslims are Arabs. So saying 'Muslims' cause as much damage as we receive is ridiculous.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yes, well the Muslims in power are Arabs, and the Arabs in power are Muslims and did you really just say that Israel causes hundred times more damage? Do you know how many countries want to destroy Israel? How many countries attack it each day? The UN isn't even doing anything about it, because the ones who attack Israel are "terrorists" and not governments. So what are they supposed to do, just sit there and get their people killed? The reason everyone is against Israel, is because it's an actual country and not a terrorist group. If they attack the government that funds terrorists, then THEY are considered the terrorists.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Here's the problem with that statement that is EXACTLY what younger Muslims are fighting against: "You cause just as much damage (if not more) as you get." I didn't do anything. I'm a straight-A student who loves America. Only six percent of all US terrorist attacks were by Muslims. As for countries funding attacks on Israel, did you know that when it was Palestine, anyone was free to go and pray with any religion on Jerusalem? The Palestinians aren't fighting for their religion. Jerusalem is another matter (since under Israeli control, Muslims aren't even allowed to visit their holy place without getting hurt). The whole Israel-Palestine issue... I see it as over land. Israel took the land, the Palestinians are pissed. They're getting treated as second or even third class citizens in their own country.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yes I do realize that the fight is over the land, but come on look at all the countries that are piled up against Israel? It's a tiny state, surrounded by enemy. It gets attacked daily, if the people decide to fight back, then you can't really blame them. Maybe if the Muslims stopped attacking first, then they can get some peace when they visit Jerusalem. Because even if the Jews stopped attacking the Muslims, it doesn't mean the Muslims will stop attacking Jews. Iran's president declared that he'll wipe Israel off the map, you can't really try to negotiate with that.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

But here's the thing-- Israelis are the upper class citizens. It's the Palestinians who are getting abused, not that they don't fight back--I'm sure they do. But HYPOTHETICALLY as you're saying, if the Muslims stopped attacking Jews first, then what stops the Jews from attacking Muslims? They'll be treated the same way---garbage. I have classmates in my public school who are from Palestine who have experienced that. Also, when the land was under Muslim control, anyone was allowed under law to visit Jerusalem. The problem only arised when the Jews took over Palestine and made it Israel. The reason it's surrounded by countries that are against it is because the whole area is Muslim countries. When Palestine was taken over, of course they weren't happy. But under the Camp David Accords, Egypt did recognize Israel as a country.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Well, I'm assuming they'd stop attacking Palestinians, because I haven't heard hateful words coming out of them, claiming to destroy all Muslims. At least I haven't. And the whole antisemitism ideals started WAY before Israel was created. I dunno if you've heard, but the Germans collaborated with the Muslims during World War II against Jews. The Germans liked the Muslims, because ideologically speaking they were both enemies of Jews

And how about all the Christians that get persecuted and killed just by saying something about their faith or trying to spread the Word in middle-eastern countries? Basically everything you just said happens to them and other religions and certain people just in general. I'm not saying what happens isn't terrifyingly horrible, but don't be so narrow minded, it happens every where to basically every group and America isn't 'the big bad wolf' and the one who should always be ridiculed. And people who call themselves Christians and continue doing horrible things and living a life of sin give Christianity a bad name and aren't 'Christians' according to the Bible.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(KenzieLe@952228 (KenzieLee_TotalBabe): wow, u are truly ignorant. u cannot try to compare christianity and islam levels of persecution. 'spread the faith', why on earth would u need to spread faith to those who already have faith. why would a christian feel compelled to attempt to convert those is middle eastern countries if they already have faith in islam, that is truly hypocritical and ignorant...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm not trying to compare anything. I didn't say 'spread the faith' and the Islam and Christian faiths are quite different. I'm certainly not ignorant or hypocritical, and I'm not looking to debate or argue.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

(KenzieLee_TotalBabe):I did not say that no other group has not gone through the same thing. Although you're missing the point, some people think that Muslims are terrorists who kill people of different faiths, like bombing places and crashing planes into towers. However, these same people need to understand that Muslims go through many horrible situations as well. I know for a fact that most of the Middle East is corrupted by my own people, but i also know that it isn't because they're Muslim, it's because they're disrespectful like that. Many people think it's because of Islam and Prophet Muhammad. Just because these places have a lot of Muslims, doesn't mean they're "Islamic Countries." I have a lot of Christian friends, but you don't see me beating them up, or them burning my Qur'an? I know a lot of Christian families who've witnessed good/bad things in the Middle East. Since the time of the Prophet Muhammad Christians and Jews lived side by side peacefully in the East.

I just had everything typed out then I deleted it on accident so I don't remember what I said! But yeah ik and I think it's horrible that people stereotype a certain group bacause people in that group do terrible things and that's the only part people focus on. I'm not gonna hate anyone or stereotype anyone just because they're Muslim, or any other religion, race, sexuality, or whatever. I'm certainly not ignorant or hypocritical, and i think that it's other people who need to grow up and realize how rediculous their thinking is. My grandparents travel all around the world and met Muslims who were some of the nicest people and I have family who just moved back to the US from Qatar. I was only trying to say that America is the one who everyone seems to hate on and it's not the only country who's at fault. I'm not trying to debate or argue with anyone either.

I'm really glad you understand! :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

it looks like I'm late for the comment war...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

We can all agree though that people in general just suck.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

"Death to America" was a joke made up by comedians and it was used to be funny. You cannot judge all Muslims by the actions of a few. Here's an example by Rusell Peters. Funny yet true. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=34HgvQlWoA0

by Anonymous 13 years ago

dufus, you cant believe everything you hear on tv

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oh, lets ignore what America is doing to Afghanistan, Iraq, and Gaza. And you accuse of other people of being terrorists.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Most civilians in those types of places are glad we're over there

by Anonymous 13 years ago

less than 6% of terrorist attacks were from 'muslims'. The second any of those radical extremists killed a person, unjustly, they were no longer fighting for their fate, but more from the twisted minds.
