Like which ones? Just curious on opinions

for example, twilight, books were great but definitely shouldn't have been made into movies

Yeah the movies and the media killed the books completely.

Oh I was actually thinking more like the fact that they are making a movie of Justin Bieber's life. Which is ludicrous because he doesn't HAVE a life, he is only 16. And also... who would watch that?

yeah i was a fan of the books but once they made it into a movie i stopped liking it.

I was just about to comment twilight, then saw someone beat me to it. Then again, some things such as twilight just aren't meant to be made into anything

The Catcher in the Rye should definitely NEVER become a movie. I'm a huge fan of the book, and I know that if it was ever put in theaters, I'd see it out of curiosity. Something seems wrong about it, in my opinion.

The Last Airbender. It is one of my favorite TV shows of all time including more "grown up" shows, but I didn't even bother seeing the movie after I heard how awful it was, because I didn't want to ruin my memory of it. Twilight was a pretty good book series. Not the best, rather inaccurate, and Bella isn't a good example of a strong female character AT ALL, but I enjoyed it all the same and read it very fast. However, as mentioned above, the abysmal acting in the movies, the crazy fans, and too much media hype have ruined it for me.

I was actually thinking about The Last Airbender at the moment when I posted this. I saw it out of curiousity and wish I hadn't; it sucked. They butchered the names, and the acting... The cartoon totally trumphs the movie. I would not reccomend it to anyone. The movie, that is.
