+47 If Julian Assange went to Hogwarts, the sorting hat would probably put him in Slytherin, amirite?

For being cunning/ambitious, or for being evil?

Mainly for being cunning/ambitious plus he looks like an old version of Draco Malfoy.

Does he have a son called Scorpius?

"There's nothing wrong with that, Julian. I knew two headmasters of Hogwarts. One of them was a Slytherin and he was probably the bravest man I ever knew."

Slytherin is mostly evil. There are a few exceptions, such as [SPOILER] --Severus Snape-- and Horace Slughorn. Slytherin actually has more to do with [as someone above suggested] cunning and ambition than evil. What's emphasized a lot is a thirst to prove oneself. Julian Assange is responsible for the online site Wikileaks which has leaked private government and diplomatic documents to the general public. He has released classified information about the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, as well as information about some of the prisoners in Guantanamo Bay. Julian Assange is a controversial figure; some people like him for exposing the corruption of governments which is hidden from the people, while others hold that his actions endanger security.
