How did she get into Stanford? Wasn't she an idiot?
they basically let her in for being Hannah Montana
In real life or on the show?
The show, they had a whole episode where she was trying to get in but couldn't because her grades were only average and she didn't have any extra curriculars. Then she went back to the admissions office with the exact same grades but dressed as Hannah Montana and the lady said they'd definitely accept her.
Phew! If it were real life, I would be pissed.
You watch hannah montana?
exactly what I was thinking...
it's a perfectly normal shame show.
If my child ever had the opportunity to make a movie like that, I would tell them to take it. You can go to college at any point, movies are once-in-a-lifetime.
I know right? All you have to do is defer for year. Lots of kids do that nothing wrong with that
The fact that in real life she chose to make movies instead of going to college sends a bad message to kids.
Not really. If everyone in the world chose to go to college instead of being in movies, alot of movies today wouldn't be around
Like Back to the Future
YES! He's the only reason as to why I watch it. Emily Osment is pretty decent too.
It pissed me off that they were saying how she wouldn't be acting like a good friend if she did the movie.
i think watching hannah montana in general is a bad message to kids
Not really, since we all know she's going to choose college in the end.
Yah, she did. After a whole crying seen and crap like that, she just returned. Not much of a surprise there xP
She was deciding about deferring from college probably, which lots of kids do, or going right away. There is nothing bad about that.
That whole show is a bad message for kids.
How is that a bad message to kids?
I prefer Wizard of Waverly Place and Suite Life. Those shows are for kids but still manage to get laughs out of me.
How is Hannah Montana, of all shows, a bad message to kids?! It's DISNEY. nothing ever goes wrong with Disney shows. Now degrassi....that's a bad message because everyone on it is either on drugs or pregnant
But Degrassi is for teens... not elementary school kids.
you make a valid point, that was just the first example that came to my mind
And I just want to say that a lot of Disney Channel shows send bad messages to kids. Some of the characters can act really snobbish in them.
