For all we know, other animals have religion, amirite?
by Anonymous13 years ago
Other animals?
Humans are not animals.
by Anonymous15 years ago
what are we then?
by Anonymous15 years ago
What are we then!?
Can you not see that I just said HUMANS are not animals!?
Humans are humans.
Animals are animals.
Yes, we are mammals, but that, in no way, makes us animals.
by Anonymous15 years ago
so you're saying there is plant, animal and human? o.O
by Anonymous15 years ago
Ummmmm YES!
Learn biology?
ksick.
by Anonymous15 years ago
humans are biological exactly the same as any other animal. why would they be in another class as the rest of them?
by Anonymous15 years ago
I'm pretty sure they are trolling because they went anon.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Humans are considered different from animals in some senses, but biology isn't one of them.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Arent humans in the kingdom anamalia? That's scientific names, which I learned in my science class while studying biology. I don't know what you learned in your biology class.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Can't tell if trolling, or just very stupid.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Yes we are.
by Anonymous15 years ago
We're mammals, which are animals. Animals are mammals, birds, fish, amphibians, and reptiles.
by Anonymous15 years ago
ARE YOU FUCKING NEW!?
Reread my comment
"Yes, we are mammals, but that, in no way, makes us animals"
ANIMALS are mammals.
HUMANS can be mammals as well.
HUMANS are not animals, or else we would fucking be called animals.
douche.
Domain
Kingdom
Phylum
Class
Order
Family
Genus
Species
That's the order I learned...
by Anonymous13 years ago
i just copied the order from the guy below me...i'm sure your teacher taught you well.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Our teacher taught us an acronym that I think is funny. It's
Does
K(our school name)
Play
Central(I can say this school because every town has a central high school)
On
Friday?
G(rival school's name)
Sucks.
It's easy to remember for our particular school.
by Anonymous13 years ago
ANIMALS are not all mammals. Reptiles are animals. Does that mean reptiles are mammals too?
All mammals are animals. Humans are mammals. Therefore humans are animals. Simple.
by Anonymous13 years ago
"Humans can be mammals as well."
Oh, I get it. So only SOME humans are mammals. Makes sense to me!
Either take a biology class, or just stop being an idiot. Why do you think we have sub-catagories?
REPTILES are animals.
DOGS are animals.
HUMANS are animals.
And mammals are animals, idiot. "Yes, we are mammals, but that, in no way, makes us animals." WTF?
Moron.

You should get a job as a research subject. I'm sure they could make some revolutionary new material with the dense material found inside your skull.

Genus: sapien
Species: Homo
Family: Hominoid
Order: Primate
Class: Mammalia
Phylum: Chordata
Kingdom: ANIMAL
we are animals.
by Anonymous15 years ago
Humans are animals with a serious superiority complex xD
by Anonymous15 years ago
It's funny that none of the comments are about the actual post. I'll start us off
This is an interesting thought, I wonder if animal religions are exclusive to a certain types of animals or if cats and dogs can share a religion.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Technically they could, if cats and dogs would evolve at the same rate and in the same manner(from an intelectual point of view).
by Anonymous13 years ago
Chances are, animal religions aren't exclusive to a certain species or family; they're probably exclusive to their geographic location, just like human mythology. The Romans, the Greeks and the First Nations were all the same species, but they all had different religions at the same time. Now that humans have discovered each other, our religions are all mixed up, but animals probably all have different beliefs.
by Anonymous13 years ago
That's a good point, I wonder if some animals move around and try to spread their religion.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I'm pretty sure my dog worships cheese.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Elephants have some kind of ritual when one of them dies. Some kind of ceremony, maybe that classifies as a religion?
by Anonymous13 years ago
I actually read somewhere that that since animals lack the higher cognitive ability to process deities and religion, that's what separates us (as humans) from them.
but then a girl said that opposable thumbs separate us as well, and all hope was lost.
by Anonymous13 years ago
If animals did have a religion (which they don't because their brains aren't advanced enough to come up with something that complicated) they would probably worship humans. At least domestic animals.
