Lately it seems like movie directors have gotten lazy. They fill a movie with random shit that may or may not have been imagined, never explain anything, and then the "twist" ending is that the person was insane, amirite?

Thats usually a problem more with the script than the director

It depends what movie you're talking about. They don't tell you everything because you have to use your own intelligence to come up conclusions on why something happened. That's like expecting a comedy to explain jokes because you don't understand them.

I like those kinds of movies. I think they're clever.
