I have a girl on my facebook who, at least half of her profile pics are pictures of her and her boyfriend making out, some are really close up too. it's like... no one really wants to see that :/

Don't be such prudes. Why is it ok for tv stars to do that in movies or shows and not other people in real life? Half the time people find kisses on tv to be romantic, but on fb its trashy? Hypocritical much

Exactly! If you're real friends you've probably seen them kiss in real life and no one really freaks out about that, so why would it be so bad to see a small picture that you don't even have to look at?

Showing off and screaming at the world. "Look at me I am insecure within my relationship, I need you to all think this is real love and it's cute." That is so Jr. High and High school. People who are confident in their relationship, trust, are secure within yourself don't do that BS. They only do it, because they want to show how much in love they are, but in reality, it doesn't say that. Taking a picture of you kissing says nothing of love. When two people are in love it shows in their actions and what they do, they don't ask their friends to take pictures. You can tell by a picture if two people are really in love and it shows, but kissing is just that a kiss, which just makes it seem so fake. People who brag about their girlfriend or boyfriend and showing off pictures of them kissing each other, almost ends in a break up. Mature people don't do that.

It's just annoying when they're standing in front of a mirror, kissing, and one person is holding out a camera to take a picture of them in the mirror. I mean you've got to think of the thought process, you're making out with someone, and suddenly they say "Hey! Let's stop kissing properly and enjoying ourselves so we can take a picture for facebook to show everyone how hot and totally not lonely we are!"

It's not trashy, but it screams immaturity, you're not confident, it's for show, and it's fake. What are you trying to pove? Couple who truly love each other and are confident in their relationship don't feel the need. Most of times when couples post themselves kissing the relationship isn't as great. Plus, they're attention whores who are not confident.
